The first thing you need is to decide where you want to publish his new blog. When you use the system WordPress, you have two options. You can post your blog on your site or domain for your own domain name. If you publish under the domination of WordPress, installation is very simple ... because there is no installation.
But I always recommend that people can blog on your own website (if you really supposed to be an extension of this site). And this requires instructions, because it is software installed WordPress on your own web domain. In other words, the following will show you how to add a WordPress blog on your existing website, such as refinancing blog I have already mentioned.
Before we begin, let me offer some advice. If this seems too technical for you, do not worry. It is really not as complicated as it seems, for someone who is familiar with the basic principles of maintaining Web, download the file, and that sort of thing. Therefore, if you know someone who has the most basic website publishing experience, he can probably help you. When you start a new blog using WordPress installation process takes only about 5 or 6 minutes. So for me - is not as difficult as you think.
Step 1. Download the software WordPress
To start a blog with this software, you actually download the software (and script files) and then upload to your Web hosting. So you need to start this process by downloading the latest version of WordPress for his team. You can do this, visit the website below: http://wordpress.org/download
Easy enough so far, right? Nevermind ...
Step 2. Setting up a MySQL database
You'll have to create a database in your web hosting. WordPress actually run on this database, it can not proceed without him. This is where your web designer or resident IT person can help. This is another of those areas that sound stronger than they really are. For example, I use GoDaddy as a host site for most websites me, and I know they (and many other hosting companies) offer a way to create a database with a single click button.
By creating the database, or have been created for you, you have to take note of certain articles. We need to write to the database username and password, the name of the database itself and address of the local host. You May or May not need this last point, depending on your host. However, you must certainly the database name, user name and password.
Step 3. Change its "configuration file
After downloading all files of WordPress, open the folder, and look what is inside. You see a file wp-config-sample.php "... as we saw in the picture below.
It is the only file you need to change before loading and use of WordPress program on its website. Let me say that again. You must make some changes to the "wp-config" file before running the WordPress system on its website.
Open the file and look at the code above. You see that you need to add the MySQL database - name, user name and password (if any) address of the local host. The image below shows the code that I mean. Again, this is the only file that must be edited before transferring files to your hosting WordPress, and lines below are the only parts of the file you need to be modified.
As shown in the picture above, there is an opportunity not to have to change the line of code to the database host (Host DB). If you use GoDaddy for accommodation should change this line of code as well. When you set your MySQL database through GoDaddy, your system gives you the address of the host you have to do here. It is likely that end in "secureserver.net" or something similar.
Step 4. Rename the file configuration
After the simple editions listed above, you can rename the "settings" file by deleting the sample in the final. Therefore, the new file name becomes "wp-config.php" after renaming it. That's all you have to do before transferring files and using the WordPress blog on your site.
Step 5. WordPress transfer files to your hosting
Now that you've made the necessary changes in the Program Files folder, you can transfer your Web hosting account. First, you need to know what you want your blog address to be. For example, if I want to start a new blog on this site under the domain www.ArmingYourFarming.com / newblog ... I would have to create a subdirectory of the file with the name "newblog." Secondly, I am pleased to note the contents of the folder of WordPress from my computer to the new subfolder (for the transfer of a file / FTP).
Step 6. Run the installation script
This is the last thing you should do before using the WordPress blogging software. This will be the final stage of diagnosis and installation is necessary to get the blog up and running. All you have to do is visit http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php (with "example.com" is the URL where to put the files of WordPress. If you put in a directory under folder named "My Blog", you visit the page to install on http://www.example.com/myblog/wp-admin/install.php ... you have the idea.
Therefore, we will summarize the measures taken to launch a new blog using the WordPress Blog:
WordPress you have downloaded the program on your computer. Established a MySQL database to power its new blog. He led the "settings" file to include the login information for the MySQL database. You changed its name to the "config" file cut "samples" at the end. He climbed all the files in the right place in your hosting account. You run the installation script, as described in Step 6. And if you did everything correctly, you can start using WordPress Blog!
So what's next? On the one hand, you probably need to customize your blog. And, of course, you need to start adding quality content on a regular basis - because that's what blogs are about.
